The role focuses on supporting students in their transition from education to career pathways, ensuring they receive meaningful guidance throughout their journey. The coach will collaborate with various stakeholders, including school corporations and employers, to facilitate students' post-secondary planning and career exploration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, monitor, implement, and guide the career coaching initiative for students.
• Represent Eastern Indiana Works positively within school corporations.
• Assist students in navigating post-secondary and career pathways.
• Support the post-secondary planning and transition of youth into career pathways.
• Help students examine their capacities, capabilities, and interests across foundational elements like self-awareness and career exploration.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided to youth.
• Collaborate and communicate with internal personnel, school corporations, employers, and partners.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated decision-making skills reflecting the corporate mission.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of corporate and employer data/strategy.
• 4-year degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred, or a combination of education and relevant employment history.
