About the position

The InSite Operations Manager at Clean Harbors is responsible for leading a team to support the execution of clients' environmental management programs at their locations. This role emphasizes health and safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction while overseeing project operations and personnel management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Emphasize productivity, health & safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that each project has an operating plan and that personnel follow it.
• Provide onsite supervision, training, and mentoring to Supervisors and Technicians.
• Provide input to the General Manager regarding performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Degree in environmental studies preferred).
• Supervisory or management experience in chemical operations preferred.
• P&L/Budget experience helpful but not required.
• Knowledge of Federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• OSHA Training and experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in environmental science or studies.
• Strong management and administrative skill set.
