About the position

The InSite Project Manager is responsible for overseeing environmental compliance and safety practices at project locations. This role involves establishing audit protocols, managing waste programs, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. The Project Manager will also communicate compliance parameters, support incident investigations, and provide training as needed, all while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Establish baseline audit protocol for all new programs.
  • Communicate and document scope of compliance parameters for each project location.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Practices at all times while on site.
  • Act as a resource for InSite Program compliance questions and answers.
  • Support the response to InSite Project environmental compliance issues.
  • Work with Program Director and site Program Manager to ensure corrective actions are tracked.
  • Provide written documentation of audit results and corrective action plans.
  • Assist with preparation and review of periodic environmental reports and compliance monitoring data.
  • Create framework for best management practices for documentation and maintenance of training records.
  • Conduct facility-wide compliance audits and inspections.
  • Assist with managing customer's air, water, and hazardous waste programs.
  • Provide weekly status reports to facility management.
  • Coordinate activities with generators and properly identify, classify, label, and manifest waste for disposal.
  • Assist with responding to hazardous material releases and cleanup of spills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance or related field.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • TDG Training certification.
