About the position

The In-Store Free Sample Associate role is a part-time position focused on promoting sales by engaging with shoppers at Whole Foods Market through food and beverage sampling. This position allows associates to interact directly with customers, introducing them to new products and enhancing their shopping experience. The role is designed for individuals who enjoy working in a retail environment and are enthusiastic about food and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and introduce food and beverage products to shoppers through sampling.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment after use.
• Record work activities using a smartphone or tablet after each shift.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability for at least 3 shifts per week, typically from 10 am - 2 pm or 3 pm - 7 pm.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including moving, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable preparing, cooking, and cleaning the work area.
