About the position
The In-Store Free Sample Associate role at CDS involves promoting sales by preparing and introducing Costco members to food and beverage products through sampling. This position allows for direct interaction with shoppers, enhancing their shopping experience by introducing them to new products. The role is designed for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and introduce food and beverage products to Costco members through sampling.
- Interact with shoppers to promote sales and enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment after preparation and sampling.
- Lift products and materials up to 40 lbs as needed.
- Stand for extended periods, up to 6 hours, while engaging with customers.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Available to work 2-3 days a week, including at least one weekend day.
- Comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and stand for up to 6 hours.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
Nice-to-haves
- No prior experience required as training and team support are provided.
- Ability to prepare, cook, and clean work area and equipment.
