About the position
The In-Store Free Sample Associate role at CDS involves promoting sales by preparing and introducing Costco members to food and beverage products through sampling. This part-time position allows for interaction with shoppers and the opportunity to introduce them to new products, contributing to an enriching shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and introduce food and beverage products to Costco members through sampling.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment after preparation and sampling.
- Lift products and materials up to 40 lbs as needed.
- Stand for extended periods, up to 6 hours.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Available to work 2-3 days a week, including at least one weekend day.
- Comfortable interacting with customers and management.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
Nice-to-haves
- No prior experience required as training is provided.
