About the position

The In-Store Free Sample Associate at CDS (Club Demonstration Services) plays a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience by promoting sales through food and beverage sampling. This position allows for direct interaction with Costco members, introducing them to new products and enriching their shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and introduce food and beverage products to Costco members through sampling.
• Promote sales by engaging with shoppers and providing product information.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Prepare and cook food samples as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Available to work 2-3 days a week, including at least one weekend day.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and stand for up to 6 hours.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required.
