About the position
The In-Store Free Sample Associate role at CDS involves promoting sales by preparing and introducing Costco members to food and beverage products through sampling. This position allows for direct interaction with shoppers, enhancing their shopping experience by introducing them to new products. The role is designed for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present food and beverage samples to Costco members.
- Engage with customers to promote products and enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines during preparation and sampling.
- Assist in inventory management of sampling products.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work 2-3 days a week, including at least one weekend day.
- Comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly manner.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and stand for up to 6 hours.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is a plus but not required.
