About the position

The Inbound Account Executive for SME & Growth at Airwallex is responsible for managing a portfolio of small and medium enterprise (SME) leads, guiding them through the onboarding process to our financial platform. This role involves optimizing customer experiences, collaborating with various stakeholders, and achieving sales targets while providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own our inbound sales process from end to end for our SME customers.
  • Conduct initial outreach, product demonstrations, and close accounts while helping customers familiarize themselves with our products.
  • Become an expert in Airwallex's product offerings and how they can resolve customer pain points.
  • Create a strong first impression by providing a world-class experience and product expertise to customers and prospects.
  • Achieve monthly targets of sourced qualified opportunities.
  • Engage in customer conversations to understand their needs and how we can help their business scale.
  • Focus on great customer experience by resolving incoming support inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate across diverse global offices and different team functions.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a closing role in business development or sales.
  • A degree from a 4-year university.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across different teams.
  • Success-oriented mentality to hold oneself accountable for delivering key outcomes and revenue targets.
  • Great communication skills and a passion for connecting with people and solving problems.

Nice-to-haves

  • At least 1 year of experience in sales at a fintech company.
  • Sales experience with usage-based products rather than contract-based selling.
