About the position

As an Inbound Customer Service Agent for GE Appliances, you will be responsible for resolving escalated customer service issues and creating an outstanding service experience for consumers. This remote position involves advocating for customers with various internal departments to ensure satisfactory resolutions, thereby positively impacting the owner's experience and contributing to the company's mission of creating happiness and well-being in every home.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve escalated customer service issues and create an outstanding quality service experience for GE Appliance consumers.
  • Take ownership in resolving customer concerns, capturing all relevant facts, and following outlined steps to resolve issues.
  • Follow up with customers via phone, email, or text to resolve appliance-related concerns and close out cases successfully.
  • Find creative solutions that benefit both customers and GE Appliances when negotiating and implementing concessions.
  • Interact and coordinate with necessary stakeholders to successfully resolve consumer issues.
  • Gather information from various resources and suggest resolutions to the Team Leader or Team Manager.
  • Complete consumer reviews for satisfaction before case closure.
  • Meet work schedule demands and obligations with compliance and integrity.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1-year Call-Center experience
  • Minimum of 2-years Escalated Customer Service experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills; navigating multiple online applications
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to handle high-volume calls while managing multiple online applications.
