About the position

The Inbound Recovery Specialist at AMR is responsible for the collection of past due accounts in a fast-paced call center environment. This role involves handling both inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service, and addressing consumer inquiries and disputes. The position offers ongoing training and the opportunity to obtain ACA Collector certification, emphasizing a consumer-centric and professional approach to debt recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Recover payments of delinquent accounts through outbound and inbound calls.
  • Retain system knowledge and company processes to thoroughly and accurately work accounts.
  • Utilize excellent negotiation skills.
  • Perform skip tracing searches when relevant to the collection of past due accounts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with third party collections and/or medical collections is preferred.
  • Must type a minimum of 40 WPM.
  • Excellent knowledge retention.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Thorough and attentive to detail.
  • Multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record.
