About The Position

The Inbound Vacation Sales Representative is responsible for converting qualified inbound transferred calls into vacation package sales through consultative selling techniques. This position engages with potential guests to promote highly discounted vacation packages, enabling guests to experience and learn more about vacation ownership opportunities. Working in a high-energy, results-driven environment, the successful candidate will utilize proven sales methodologies to achieve performance targets while delivering exceptional customer service. Position offers competitive compensation including base pay plus commission, comprehensive benefits, and travel perks including points for personal use at our locations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Sales experience preferred, particularly in vacation ownership, call center, or marketing environments
  • Experience in commission-based roles preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets preferred
  • Strong verbal communication skills with excellent voice tonality and inflection
  • Proficiency with technology including Email and messaging platforms; Web-based application software; Multi-monitor computer operations
  • Demonstrated ability to follow structured sales processes
  • Handle objections professionally
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Work independently while contributing to team goals
  • Self-motivated with a professionally competitive mindset

Responsibilities

  • Pre-qualify guests for vacation packages based on established criteria
  • Manage high volume of inbound transferred calls while maintaining professional and engaging conversation
  • Utilize company sales methodology to effectively present vacation packages and ownership benefits
  • Follow proven sales scripts and best practices to achieve conversion targets
  • Overcome objections professionally while maintaining positive guest relationships
  • Document guest interactions and sales activities in company systems
  • Meet or exceed established performance metrics for sales conversion and call quality
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with guests, team members and leaders
  • Follow department policies and procedures consistently
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
  • Adapt to changing business needs and scheduling requirements
  • Complete new hire training and all subsequent skill enhancement training
  • Participate in ongoing coaching and development sessions
  • Apply feedback to enhance sales techniques and guest interactions
