About the position
As an Inbound Warehouse Receiver at Martin Bros. Distributing Co. Inc., you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations. This position involves receiving and processing incoming freight, ensuring that all materials are accurately accounted for and stored appropriately. You will be responsible for using equipment such as reach trucks and electric pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse efficiently. Your primary duties will include picking orders for our food market customers, unloading shipments, and re-palletizing products as necessary. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. The general working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. You will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively with your team to meet daily operational goals. The role may also involve other general warehouse duties as needed, contributing to the overall success of our distribution operations. Responsibilities
- Use a reach truck and/or electric pallet jack to move materials within the warehouse.
- Pick orders for customers of the food market.
- Assist with unloading and re-palletizing incoming freight.
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to operate pallet jack, forklift, and/or reach truck (previous experience preferred).
- Must be able to lift 40-100 lbs frequently.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift/carry for the entire shift.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to work in cold temperatures.
