About The Position
The Incarceration Alternatives Program Director is responsible for directing and managing statewide programs and initiatives within the Minnesota Department of Corrections aimed at providing alternatives to incarceration for clients. This role involves designing strategies, coordinating with various organizations, managing reentry issues, and overseeing grants and contracts for intervention services. The position also supervises staff associated with the Opportunity for Change (O4C) Program and promotes a flexible work environment with telework options.
