About the position

The Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation will provide analytical support for the design, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of incentive compensation plans. This role involves delivering monthly and quarterly results to management and field sales teams, while addressing inquiries as needed. The Analyst will collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline workflows and ensure proper data integration, focusing on improving the efficiency and accuracy of incentive compensation functions through the development of internal processes and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support for the design, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of incentive compensation plans.
  • Deliver monthly/quarterly results and ranking reports to management and field sales teams.
  • Address inquiries from the field as needed.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline workflows and ensure proper data integration.
  • Establish best practices for managing incentive compensation processes in-house.
  • Develop internal processes and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of incentive compensation functions.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on new systems, processes, and data management practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, data science, or a STEM related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in various roles, preferably in sales operations, IT, or analytical roles.
  • 1+ years of financial/operational analytic experience.
  • Strong Excel and SQL database skills, including the ability to extract information from a data warehouse using SQL or other tools.
  • Strong analysis/quantitative skills and the ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks.
  • Ability to develop mathematical/financial models to solve complex analytical challenges.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with languages such as SAS, R, or Python.
