About the position
We are seeking experienced tax preparers for both part-time and full-time positions. The ideal candidates will have a background in tax preparation or accounting and will be able to work flexible hours during the week. This role is essential to support our growing tax preparation company, which has seen significant growth over the past three years.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file tax returns for clients.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during the tax preparation process.
- Utilize tax software to ensure accurate and efficient tax preparation.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of client information.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and information.
Requirements
- Experience in tax preparation or a degree in accounting.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with tax software.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with specific tax/accounting software.
- Previous job history in a tax preparation role.
Benefits
