Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and entity income tax returns including Forms 1040, 1040NR, 1041, 1120, 1120S, 1065, and various state tax returns.
• Handle IRS correspondence and resolve related issues.
• Provide monthly accounting, payroll services, and sales tax reporting as required by clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring a patient and respectful approach to their needs.
• Utilize firm software including Intuit ProSeries, QuickBooks, OfficeTools, and Microsoft Suite for tax preparation and client management.

Requirements

• Valid Enrolled Agent (EA) license or CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional income tax preparation experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in preparing various income tax forms and state tax returns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-oriented.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Intuit ProSeries and OfficeTools software.
• Ability to think creatively and provide out-of-the-box solutions for clients.
