Responsibilities

• Review and prepare all types of business tax returns including multi-state and local individual, trust, partnership, and S & C corporate income tax returns.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
• Develop meaningful and trusting relationships with clients to understand their business and provide personalized accounting advice.
• Research, identify, and implement tax planning opportunities regarding return preparation accuracy and tax savings.
• Consult with clients on tax planning matters and stay up to date on tax laws, rules, and regulations.
• Effectively communicate complicated tax knowledge to clients in an understandable manner, both one-on-one and in group settings.

Requirements

• 4+ years of business tax preparation experience or a related degree.
• 2 years of tax return preparation experience required.
• Technical ability to learn new computer software.
• Self-motivated and able to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Ability to thrive in an environment with minimal oversight in day-to-day tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
