About the position
The Incoming Inspector will be a key member of the quality assurance team, responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role involves using various inspection tools and techniques to analyze products, maintaining the integrity of manufacturing processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Use Oracle material workbench to verify part number and quantity.
- Utilize engineering browser to validate part descriptions.
- Validate parts using specifications and pictures provided.
- Fill out templates in the system with required measurements.
- Follow moisture-sensitive requirements for surface mount materials.
- Collaborate with engineering for template requirements for new parts.
- Work with the Methods team on all specifications required.
- Use calipers and gauges to validate hole sizes and part dimensions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quality inspection or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with ITAR regulations and AS9102 is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers and CMM is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to fabricate reports based on inspection data.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) is a plus.
