About the position
The Independent Living Sales Counselor at The Langford Methodist Retirement Communities is responsible for cultivating and closing prospects for independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. This role is part of a two-person sales team and reports to the Executive Director and the VP of Marketing. The position emphasizes community outreach, marketing event planning, and providing education to prospects about senior living options, ensuring a seamless move-in experience for new residents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted outreach to individual prospects.
- Engage in general community outreach to promote services.
- Plan and conduct marketing events to attract potential residents.
- Educate prospects about senior living options available.
- Follow up carefully with prospects to nurture relationships.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and interactions.
- Oversee the move-in process to ensure a positive experience for new residents.
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales.
- Good computer skills for recordkeeping and communication.
- Ability to establish rapport with prospects and their families.
- Alignment with the mission of serving older adults.
