About the position

The Independent Contractor role at Kids First Services focuses on expanding the organization's presence by establishing connections with key referral sources, promoting services in targeted school districts and counties, and supporting the recruitment and initial operations of new staff. This position is crucial for enhancing outreach and ensuring effective service delivery to clients.

Responsibilities

• Engage and establish connections with two school districts, identifying key referral sources within these districts.
• Reach out to identified school districts to add Kids First to their resource lists.
• Attend school fairs to promote Kids First services, considering potential delays due to summer recess.
• Engage with parent mentors and Special Education (SPED) staff within the districts.
• Reach out to psychologists and doctors in the area to inform them about Kids First services.
• Establish working relationships with clinics as referral sources for clients living far from the clinics.
• Identify four to five counties for outreach and engagement.
• Facilitate introductions of the CEO and Clinical Director to key referral sources.
• Recruit and hire Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and assist in recruiting Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
• Conduct intakes and assessments for incoming BCBAs and new clients.

Requirements

• Mid-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
• Experience in outreach and engagement with educational institutions and healthcare providers.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in recruitment and hiring processes for behavioral health staff.
• Familiarity with special education systems and resources.
