About the position
This position is for a contract role in a hospital setting, focusing on anesthesia for a diverse patient population including adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics. The role requires proficiency in various procedures, primarily Level II Trauma cases, and involves working in a fast-paced environment with multiple operating rooms and specialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for patients across various age groups and medical conditions.
- Perform spinal blocks and assist in trauma cases, excluding certain specialties like OB and Burns.
- Collaborate with surgical teams in a hospital setting to ensure patient safety and effective anesthesia management.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Anesthesia is required.
- Active medical license; open to candidates needing assistance with DEA and CSR licensing.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in anesthesia practice is required.
- Ability to complete credentialing within the specified timeframe.
