About the position

The Independent Pharmacy Marketing Representative will be responsible for leveraging existing relationships with healthcare providers to generate prescription referrals to the pharmacy. This role focuses on building and expanding partnerships in specialized areas such as HIV, Hepatitis C, Dermatology, Women's Health, Internal Medicine, Workers' Compensation, and Personal Injury. The representative will act as a liaison between the pharmacy and healthcare professionals, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Leverage existing relationships with healthcare providers to generate prescription referrals to our pharmacy.
• Focus on building and expanding relationships in specialized areas such as HIV, Hepatitis C, Dermatology, Women's Health, Internal Medicine, Workers' Compensation, and Personal Injury.
• Identify and establish new partnerships with doctors, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
• Promote the pharmacy's services and benefits to healthcare providers.
• Act as a liaison between the pharmacy and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
• Track and report referral activity and outcomes to the pharmacy team.
• Stay informed about the pharmacy's offerings and industry trends to effectively address client needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in healthcare marketing, pharmaceutical sales, or a related field.
• Established network of healthcare providers who are ready to send prescriptions, particularly in specialized areas.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Understanding of pharmacy operations and prescription services is a plus.
