About the position

The Sales Trainer at Leaf Home is responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of Sales Representatives and Sales Consultants within a designated market. This role focuses on enhancing sales performance and customer experience by implementing effective training programs and supporting sales operations. The Sales Trainer will work closely with Sales Operations Managers to achieve sales targets and ensure quality metrics are met.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development, implementation, and delivery of coaching and training plans that support market and corporate goals.
  • Ensure Sales Representatives and Sales Consultants meet or exceed established sales and quality KPIs.
  • Support Sales Operations Managers with in-field training and development of Sales Representatives and Sales Consultants.
  • Identify individual development opportunities for Sales Representatives and provide feedback to Sales Operations Managers.
  • Identify process deficiencies and recommend improvements for a consistent sales process.
  • Conduct in-person group training sessions on identified training opportunities.
  • Provide focused training on new technology platforms to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Conduct ride-alongs with Sales Representatives for quality assurance and training purposes.
  • Complete in-home sales demonstrations and provide sales quotes when necessary.
  • Travel throughout the assigned market.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in direct selling, outside sales, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in training and coaching outside sales representatives.
  • Ability to translate training documentation into practical applications.
  • Experience managing conflict resolution and motivating others.
  • Ability to frequently travel within the assigned market.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using Salesforce or related CRM platforms.
  • Experience in the direct-to-consumer home services industry.
