About the position

This position is for a volunteer crew member in a no/micro-budget feature film being produced in Nashville. The project is set to take place in November/December 2024 and is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in filmmaking or build their portfolios. The roles available include Director of Photography (DP), sound person, and various crew positions, as well as actors. This is a guerrilla-style shoot, emphasizing hands-on experience and collaboration among passionate filmmakers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of a no/micro-budget feature film.
• Work collaboratively with the crew and cast during the shoot.
• Be available for approximately 7 to 10 days, working 8 to 12 hours a day.
• Participate in consecutive shooting days and pick-up days as scheduled.
• Provide your own wardrobe and transportation if applying as an actor.

Requirements

• Passion for filmmaking and willingness to work in a no-budget environment.
• Availability for the shooting schedule of 7 to 10 days.
• Ability to work long hours (8 to 12 hours a day) during the shoot.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in film production or acting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Possession of filming equipment to lend is a plus.
