About the position

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for selling, growing, and supporting all Castrol PCO business in the assigned geography through various channels including distributors and direct accounts. This role emphasizes new business development, account management, and field activation for key accounts. The ASM will be expected to maximize profitable growth, manage a robust sales pipeline, and provide training and support to the sales force in the area.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize profitable growth of Castrol brands focusing on premium products and strategic segments.
  • Support and train the WD DSR sales force in the assigned area.
  • Prospect and develop a sales pipeline using Salesforce.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline for both direct and indirect prospects.
  • Leverage PowerBI to manage territory effectively.
  • Demonstrate and train DSRs on prospecting and closing business using Castrol programs.
  • Support onboarding of OEM, PCNA, Walmart ACC, and key accounts as required.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage account relationships and pipeline.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in sales management and customer relationship management.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
  • Ability to develop partnerships and relationships with large customers.
