About the position

The Indirect Materials & Services Purchasing Manager at Givaudan is responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies for indirect materials and services. This role focuses on securing the supply of materials and services while supporting corporate sustainability and partner goals. The position involves managing supplier performance, leading major RFQs, and conducting important commercial negotiations to optimize costs and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement Indirect Materials & Services Procurement strategies.
• Support sourcing strategy development and implementation by leading major RFQs and important commercial negotiations.
• Analyze supply markets and implement risk management strategies for main Indirect Materials and Services.
• Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and engage partners in the development of optimization plans.
• Develop global/regional supplier relationships and lead main supplier conflict resolutions.
• Lead quarterly site and business reviews and prepare initiative and project plans.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in Engineering, Procurement, and other functional experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in English, with knowledge of other languages being a plus.
• Understanding of procurement systems, specifically SAP.
• Financial and Project Management skills.
