About the position
The Indirect Sourcing Manager (Logistics Category) at Reynolds American Inc. is responsible for managing the strategic sourcing of materials and services within the logistics category. This role focuses on developing innovative and sustainable sourcing strategies to provide a competitive advantage for the company. The manager will execute sourcing processes, analyze quotations, perform spend analytics, and develop supplier relationship plans to enhance performance and drive cost competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Execute the Sourcing Process within the approved category strategy.
- Develop and implement sourcing and negotiation strategies for key spend areas.
- Analyze quotations and RFP results for accuracy and compliance, making sourcing recommendations.
- Perform spend analytics, cost analysis, and total cost of ownership benchmarking.
- Identify spend optimization opportunities to achieve savings targets.
- Develop and maintain contingency plans for security of supply in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Work closely with Global Procurement to define and deploy global strategies for categories.
- Develop and execute Supplier Relationship Plans for strategic and preferred suppliers.
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Business Administration or related field with 3 years of procurement logistics experience, or an A.A.S. Degree in Engineering with 6 years of procurement logistics experience.
- Proven experience with logistics and warehouse services procurement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
- Proficiency with SAP (desirable).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in leading sourcing initiatives for transportation and intermodal transportation.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
