About the position

The Indirects Area Manager at Bechtel Corporation will lead a team of superintendents and craft professionals on the Thacker Pass Project, overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and budgets. This role involves directing craft professional activities, coordinating subcontract work, and fostering team development to achieve successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of superintendents and craft professionals on the project.
• Engage in team development through competency assessment and feedback.
• Determine workforce requirements and prepare construction progress reports.
• Monitor tool and equipment usage on site and ensure crafts have necessary tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in construction operations.
• Interpret engineering design documents and coordinate engineering solutions with subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant field.
• 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience.
