Individual Framer and Trim Carpenter Needed

About the position

Wilson Home Services is seeking an experienced Framer and Trim Carpenter to join our team in Northwest Arkansas. This position requires a strong background in framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in these areas and be able to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards. This is a 1099 position, meaning you will be responsible for your own taxes and will receive weekly payments based on the hours worked. We operate on a four-day work week, from Monday to Thursday, with each day consisting of 10-hour shifts. The pay for this position ranges from $20 to $25 per man hour, and we cover all material costs associated with the projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Install drywall and ensure proper finishing techniques are applied.
• Execute trim carpentry work, including baseboards, crown molding, and other decorative elements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and experience in framing, drywall, and trim carpentry.
• Must have reliable transportation suitable for construction work.
• Possess your own tools necessary for framing and carpentry tasks.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with other construction trades is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
