About the position

The Individual Giving Officer at Catholic Guardian Services is a key member of the development team, responsible for enhancing individual donor support and increasing contributed income as part of the organization's fundraising strategy. This role involves designing, executing, and evaluating strategies to recruit, retain, and engage donors through various online and traditional channels, ensuring a strong relationship with the donor community.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies to recruit and retain individual donors.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and make necessary adjustments.
• Engage with donors through social media and traditional communication channels.
• Plan and execute fundraising events to enhance donor engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with donors to foster loyalty and support.

Requirements

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors.
• Proficiency in social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Basic knowledge of fundraising techniques and volunteer engagement strategies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in numerical analysis for setting fundraising goals.
• Familiarity with using social media for organizational purposes.
• Experience in planning and executing events.
• Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification or willingness to pursue it.
