About the position
The Individualized Home Support (IHS) position at Accord is designed for individuals who provide non-medical care and support to clients in their homes or communities. The role focuses on enhancing the independence, productivity, and community inclusion of the individuals receiving support. Staff will be responsible for following assigned duties, attending relevant meetings, and completing annual training requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical care and supervision to individuals in their homes or communities.
- Assist individuals in achieving increased independence and productivity.
- Attend participant-related meetings as assigned by the primary contact.
- Complete annual staff training as required (6-12 hours per year based on experience).
- Follow through on all duties assigned by the primary contact.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to pass a DHS background check is mandatory.
Benefits
- Hourly pay ranging from $19.00 to $21.82 based on education and experience.
