About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced Indonesian writers to assist in training generative artificial intelligence models. This freelance opportunity allows for remote work with flexible hours, enabling writers to contribute their expertise at their convenience.

Responsibilities

• Reading Indonesian text to rank responses produced by an AI model
• Writing short stories in Indonesian on given topics
• Assessing the factual accuracy of Indonesian text generated by an AI model

Requirements

• Fluency in Indonesian
• Experience as a professional translator
• Professional writing experience (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.)
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or related to writing
• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing

Nice-to-haves

• Higher education qualifications such as a PhD may lead to higher pay rates
