About the position

The Industrial Account Executive at Tradesmen International is responsible for acquiring and managing client accounts within the Industrial and Manufacturing sectors. This role involves educating potential clients about the company's services, building relationships, and driving sales growth through effective account management and client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain orders or contracts for Tradesmen's services within the Industrial and Manufacturing verticals.
  • Educate contractors, facility managers, and HR managers about the Tradesmen International Value Proposition.
  • Locate and bring in new business while maintaining client relationships.
  • Maximize account potential and exceed sales goals set by the company.
  • Communicate detailed client needs to the operations team and generate sales leads.
  • Make direct sales calls and presentations to clients at their place of business.
  • Collect payments owed to Tradesmen on a timely basis.
  • Attend trade-related association and networking events.
  • Follow up with registered clients to build relationships and create initial orders.
  • Conduct follow-up communication with clients after field employee dispatch to ensure satisfaction and quality control.
  • Prepare field employees for assignments and maintain strong relationships with them.
  • Encourage additional sales by managing and transmitting information to support the sales process.
  • Maintain client sales files through Salesforce CRM.
  • Complete a Sales Activity Report weekly and present a daily plan for the following week.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with field employees.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Familiarity with standard computer systems and CRM systems.
  • Experience in cold calling and generating new business leads.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
