The position also entails mixing paints and coatings to meet specified requirements, maintaining an inventory of paints and supplies, and preparing detailed work reports regarding paint usage and environmental considerations. Safety is a paramount concern, and the specialist is responsible for their own safety as well as that of others, ensuring that all work is performed in a cost-effective manner. The role may also involve directing the work of others and requires the ability to perform accurate cost estimates and project schedules.
