About the position

The Industrial Construction Project Manager at Grizzly Industrial Group is responsible for leading and overseeing various industrial construction projects, ensuring their success through effective planning, execution, and resource management. This role involves managing projects ranging from $50K to $20M, with a focus on maintaining safety, quality, and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in the midstream and/or downstream sectors and will play a key role in fostering client relationships and mentoring project team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of industrial construction projects, from inception to completion.
  • Oversee HSE, QAQC, estimating, change order management, financial reporting, procurement, project controls, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Assist with all estimating opportunities from bid walk, take-offs, proposals, scheduling through final submittal to client.
  • Maintain account and client relationships; develop positive relationships with clients to foster trust and repeat business.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment of project goals.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Coordinator in industrial construction.
  • Experience in building and maintaining schedules via Microsoft Project or Primavera (P6).
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
