About the position

This BME Controls Engineering position provides a great opportunity to lead Ford Motor Company's journey to electrification within the Battery Manufacturing Engineering (BME) organization. The BME Controls team is responsible for supporting the BlueOval SK plant through equipment safety and functionality validations, ensuring compliance with US regulations, maintaining network connectivity with MES servers, and guiding OEMs to achieve project milestones on time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrification journey within the Battery Manufacturing Engineering organization.
• Support the BlueOval SK plant through equipment safety and functionality validations.
• Ensure compliance with US regulations.
• Maintain network connectivity with MES servers.
• Guide OEMs to achieve project milestones on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience in controls engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of equipment safety and functionality validations.
• Familiarity with US regulations related to manufacturing and electrification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with MES systems and network connectivity.
• Project management skills.
• Familiarity with OEM processes and standards.
