About the position

The Industrial Cybersecurity Consultant at Wood is responsible for driving revenue growth and ensuring project delivery excellence within the industrial cybersecurity domain. This role involves engaging with key clients, developing business strategies, and maintaining strong customer relationships while adhering to safety and ethical standards. The consultant will also support the recruitment and development of talent within the organization, ensuring effective performance management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and ensure project/program delivery excellence.
  • Engage regularly with key clients to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Support the development and delivery of a robust business plan aligned with corporate initiatives.
  • Act as a consultant, project manager, or technical advisor, with a focus on billability based on growth priorities.
  • Develop and implement focused strategies at the practice level, including scope of work development and bid activities.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication and relationship management.
  • Act as a 'seller-doer' by developing opportunities and presenting proposals to customers.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve delivery performance and maximize opportunities.
  • Understand customer needs and introduce additional Wood services to enhance value.
  • Champion HSSEA matters across customer contracts and model safety behaviors.
  • Promote ethical behavior and compliance with laws and policies.
  • Maintain expertise in OT Cybersecurity standards and provide training on trends.
  • Support recruitment and development of talent, acting as a coach and mentor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering in a relevant discipline.
  • One or more cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, ISA99/IEC-62443 Cybersecurity, Exida Automation Cybersecurity).
  • 10+ years of experience in Industrial Information Systems, preferably in Oil & Gas, Refining & Chemicals, Mining & Mineral Processing, or Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT/OT cybersecurity management systems and risk assessments.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial firewalls, backup solutions, and security deployments.
  • Experience configuring and deploying network equipment from vendors like Cisco, Juniper Networks, and Palo Alto Networks.
  • Proven track record in securing industrial automation projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Multiple cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with different control system vendors and industrial networking equipment.
