About the position

One of my excellent company clients is growing and looking to add a remote Design Engineer (Controls/Circuits - P&ID). You will play a crucial role on their engineering team, contributing to the design and development of industrial plants. This position involves generating drawing packages, modifying existing 3D models, and creating new models using Revit/AutoCAD software. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models of industrial plants using BIM/Revit/AutoCAD software, ensuring that all designs meet project specifications and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications, modifying existing models based on feedback and project requirements. Additionally, you will review and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications, participating in project meetings to provide insights on design and modeling aspects. Maintaining organized project files and documentation will also be a key part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of industrial plants using BIM/Revit/AutoCAD software.
• Generate drawing packages including plans, elevations, and sections for construction and documentation purposes.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Modify existing 3D models based on feedback and project requirements.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications.
• Participate in project meetings and provide insights on design and modeling aspects.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Revit 3D Modeler or similar role in industrial plant design.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD software and other relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of industrial plant design principles and construction techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality models.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Ability to travel as projects require but position is remote.
