About the position

The Industrial Designer - 3D position at a leading manufacturing company focuses on conceptualizing and developing innovative arcade game designs. The role is part of the Research and Development team, responsible for delivering high-quality designs that maintain brand continuity and usability across various media. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and experience in 3D modeling and graphic design, contributing to the company's commitment to quality in the global arcade game market.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop and deliver high-quality custom designs from inception to final delivery.
• Create and maintain project schedules and detailed job logs.
• Prioritize work based on shifting deadlines and monitor new design requests.
• Maintain digital assets and work with team members, clients, and vendors.
• Source and work with vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables and deadlines are met.
• Utilize Cinema 4D for graphical animation and design with 3D models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a discipline-related field with 1-3 years of experience or equivalent work experience.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating relevant skills.
• Proficiency in Cinema 4D or Blender.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Thorough knowledge of visual design principles, including graphic design, layout, typography, color, and corporate identity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate and present creative ideas.
• Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Understanding of print and digital production and workflow.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take creative direction.
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced, team-oriented work environment under tight deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic photography/videography and video editing skills.
• Some experience using or understanding Solid Works parts and assemblies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and file management.
