About the position

The EPAM Continuum team is looking for a passionate advocate for user-centered design who excels in creating thoughtful and impactful solutions. This high-impact role involves engaging deeply with users, collaborating with clients, and working within cross-functional teams to develop innovative designs that meet user needs and enhance the customer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Engage deeply with users to guide design decisions and develop innovative solutions.
  • Meet with clients to gather design requirements and translate them into functional and visually compelling prototypes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering and business stakeholders, to create practical solutions.
  • Take full ownership of projects, managing details autonomously from concept through delivery.
  • Tackle complex challenges with creativity and strategic thinking to develop effective solutions.
  • Rapidly generate multiple design concepts and prototypes, balancing high-fidelity precision with low-fidelity sketches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design required.
  • Proficiency in sketching and 3D modeling, with fluency in tools such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or Blender.
  • Expertise in 2D software like Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator; experience with 3D rendering tools such as Keyshot.
  • Hands-on experience with iterative model-making and prototyping, including manual techniques, 3D printing, and CNC machining.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, work independently, and manage multiple projects effectively in an agile environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills—visual, verbal, and written—to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with interface design tools like Figma is a plus.
  • Experience designing medical devices is highly desirable.
