Industrial Electrical Apprentice - Las Vegas, NV

About the position

The Industrial Electrical Apprentice position at RAM Enterprise, Inc. is an entry-level role focused on assisting in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment within an industrial construction setting. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of journeyman electricians and the Electrical Regional Manager, ensuring safety and quality in all tasks performed.

Responsibilities

• Commit to safety as the number one priority and produce quality work.
• Demonstrate proper use and safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
• Communicate with management in a professional manner.
• Assist journeyman electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.
• Install and test electrical systems, repair electronic controls, and complete routine maintenance.
• Identify wires by color and possess above-average math skills.
• Work independently with little supervision and effectively as part of a team.
• Obtain access to all regional customer properties.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required upon hire and as a condition of continued employment.
• 1-3 years of experience working as an apprentice electrician or electrical helper.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Company safety requirements applicable to job-site practices.
• Ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with all personnel.
• Good communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and organize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated competency in adapting to change.
• Self-motivated and willing to devote time to training programs.
• Willingness to work a variety of schedules including dayshift, nightshift, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.
• Willingness to travel and work out of town when necessary.
