About the position

The Industrial Electrical Assembler position at Aerotek involves assisting in the creation of industrial machinery, with a focus on electrical work, particularly wiring controls cabinets. The role requires a background in low-voltage wiring and testing, and candidates should be adaptable to assist in various areas of the shop as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install components such as compressors, pressure vessels, controls cabinets, electric motors, and other necessary parts using power tools.
• Perform wiring and troubleshooting tasks.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints/schematics.
• Conduct electrical automotive-type wiring and troubleshooting/tracing.
• Ensure all components and accessories are installed and functioning correctly.
• Perform a variety of roles throughout the assembly process.

Requirements

• Background in auto/diesel field with experience working on electrical systems.
• Experience as panel/controls technicians, maintenance technician, or skilled electrical assemblers.
