About the position

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs or Greenwood Village, CO, with options for remote or hybrid work. As an Industrial Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for multi-project management, focusing on full electrical design, including cleanroom design and process utility systems. In this role, you will prepare accurate electrical system construction drawings and specifications for submittal review and construction administration. You will be involved in the entire design process, from preliminary schematics to final designs, including calculations, equipment selection, and layout. You will actively engage in code research and application, ensuring that all designs meet the necessary standards and regulations. Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate Electrical system construction drawings and specifications for submittal review and construction administration.
  • Prepare preliminary schematics through final designs, calculations, equipment selection, and layout.
  • Maintain project design budgets and schedules while pursuing quality.
  • Actively engage in and assume responsibility for code research and application.
  • Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
  • Experience in electrical design for industrial applications, particularly in advanced manufacturing or semiconductor industries.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
