About the position

The Industrial / Electrical Maintenance Technician at Maintainer Corp of Iowa is responsible for installing, repairing, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance on complex production equipment within a manufacturing facility. This role emphasizes the importance of ensuring operational efficiency through troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The technician will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, focusing on continuous learning and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Install electrical systems, wiring, and conduit.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues and components.
• Test equipment for performance standards.
• Adhere to safety standards, including lock out/tag out procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
• Understanding of the function of complex production equipment.
• Experience in assessing and performing repairs and maintenance on equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
