About the position

The Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technician at Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions is responsible for the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues on machinery used in the facility. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can safely resolve problems and improve operations using their technical knowledge and skills. The technician will work with various systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues on machinery.
• Use CMMS software to track preventive maintenance and work orders.
• Engage in mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance of electronic power generating equipment.
• Resolve problems using knowledge of new techniques, technologies, or concepts to improve operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of maintenance/electrical, mechanical, industrial plant experience.
• High school diploma or GED, or vocational school education.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of 480v 3 phase, 270v, 110v, and 24v systems.
• Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
• Proficient in using a multimeter for troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Knowledge of VFD programming and PLC output/input controls troubleshooting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience within the glass industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of potentiometers, servos, drives, and encoders.
