About the position

The Industrial Electrician at Jones Lumber Company is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within the mill. This role requires excellent communication with mill managers and a proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems. The position demands flexibility in working hours and a commitment to teamwork and safety.

Responsibilities

• Any job to help mill operate
• Excellent communication with Mill Managers
• Install, repair, maintain and troubleshoot all electrical systems
• Clean up after job is complete
• Willingness to work all hours and take calls anytime

Requirements

• Knowledge of tools and machines, including their designs and uses
• 3 -- 5 years of relevant experience
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Enthusiasm for being part of a team and working in a team-oriented environment
• Self-motivated and forward thinking, resourceful and willing to take initiative
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; energetic and driven
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
