About the position

The Industrial Electrician at Quad in Winchester, Virginia, is responsible for maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic circuitry and related components associated with production and facility equipment. This role requires advanced knowledge in electronic diagnostics and the ability to work with various control systems and tools in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic circuitry and related components associated with production and facility equipment.
• Utilize electrical ladder diagrams, electronic circuitry diagrams, and software programs to modify, repair, or improve equipment functionality.
• Work with PLC, controls, and AC/DC drive systems, demonstrating advanced knowledge in electronic diagnostics.
• Utilize a variety of tools such as hand tools, power tools, electrical/electronic test equipment, and calibration equipment.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and peers to maintain electronic/electrical systems on new and specialized equipment.

Requirements

• Preferred education in Electronics or related fields, or a minimum of 5 years of electrical/electronic repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in the repair of a wide variety of equipment and ability to work flexible rotating shifts, including AM and PM shifts.

• Good communication skills and ability to build working relationships with others.
• Demonstrate proficiency utilizing a personal computer and order parts and materials using computerized maintenance management systems.
