About the position

The Industrial Electro-mechanical Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of various equipment and machinery at the Millville, NJ plant. This role requires a combination of mechanical and electrical skills, with a focus on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of industrial systems. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and machinery.
• Analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues to find root causes.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery using power and hand tools.
• Complete preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines.
• Collaborate with operations to improve team performance and efficiency.
• Implement contingency strategies based on data and measurable information.
• Communicate effectively with staff to control downtime and maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
• Basic electrical knowledge to advanced 220/480V experience.
• Experience with VFDs, PLCs, and HMI interfaces.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to run manual Mill, Lathe, and Surface grinder.
• Fabrication skills including welding and erecting.
