Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in Littleton, Colorado. In this role, you will operate in a fast-paced, agile environment, utilizing cutting-edge technology in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Discrete Event Simulation, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization Software. Your primary responsibility will be to provide data-driven solutions that optimize manufacturing schedules and costs, enabling the production team to make informed decisions. As an Industrial Engineer, you will engage directly with the production operations team to gain a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes. This interaction will allow you to deliver data-driven insights and solutions to internal customers, enhancing operational efficiency. You will collaborate with various functional groups throughout the entire product lifecycle, providing valuable solutions that align with program priorities. The Industrial Engineering team at Lockheed Martin is renowned for delivering innovative capabilities and process improvements that redefine space flight. We are looking for a team member who is passionate about continuous improvement, waste reduction, and the introduction of technology to drive change. This position offers the opportunity to apply advanced Industrial Engineering concepts and techniques to analyze business processes, reduce waste, and serve as a Performance Excellence business partner across multiple organizations within Lockheed Martin Space. You will be responsible for defining projects, assessing business impacts, calculating ROI, and driving metrics for measuring business improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Your role will also involve interrogating data systems to identify opportunities for improvement and overseeing process improvement efforts to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of results. This position requires excellent communication skills, project management experience, and the ability to lead continuous improvement projects effectively. You will be expected to travel an average of 10% or less, and the work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
